steel rope or stainless
steel rope, they can also be utilised on fibre ropes.
They are available to suit a wide choice of diameters of
rope from 5mm up to 26mm. With a mild steel U-bolt and malleable cast steel
bridge with electro-galvanized finish & all to DIN 1142 standards you can
be sure of a quality product.
Our range of heavy duty rope grips differ from standard varieties due to the special knurled nut design. The nuts used to secure the saddle and subsequently the rope have an enlarged knurled area (like a fixed washer) and thus have a ridged appearance. The textured ridges enable the nut to bite into the saddle when fully tightened which provides superior grip and security immediately. Even so after the initial load or tension has been applied it is always recommended to check and re-tighten if necessary.
Or heavy duty rope grips are easy to purchase and come in a variety
of sizes to suit many tasks. Perfect for use in the architectural, building,
sailing or most other industries; utilised for temporarily joining and holding
two ropes together or to create an eye/loop for easier anchoring to other
hardware. Commonly used in multiples –
evenly spaced out for optimum security
